In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.
The mission centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will obtain an special katana alongside multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
